Five-star quarterback Arch Manning continues to showcase why he’s rated the No. 1 prospect in the country for the 2023 recruiting class.
Steve Sarkisian and his staff were impressively able to secure a commitment from Manning in June. Shortly after, the recruiting flood gates opened for the Longhorns and they now currently have the No. 2 class in the country for the 2023 cycle, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
The Isidore Newman product participated in a scrimmage against Holy Cross on Friday evening and made several nice plays. Here’s a look at one of the top plays of the night, where Manning found receiver Anthony Jones for a 53-yard connection.
From a physical standpoint, Manning certainly already looks the part. When you couple that with the likelihood of him redshirting his true freshman season behind Quinn Ewers, the sky is the limit for Manning’s collegiate career in Austin.
