Stock up, stock down following Buffalo Bills’ win over Denver Broncos

Stock up, stock down following Buffalo Bills’ win over Denver Broncos

Here is Bills Wire’s stock report following the Buffalo Bills’ 42-15 preseason win vs. the Denver Broncos:

Stock up: QB Josh Allen

Allen was in and out. That’s all anyone needed to see. He was 3-for-3 passing with a 28-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Davis.

Stock up: Zack Moss/ every RB

Top props go to Moss who scored twice for the Bills. But the entire running back room–literally–showed out against the Broncos.

The stats:

Raheem Blackshear: 58 yards (5 carries)
Devin Singletary: 39 yards (4 carries)
James Cook: 38 yards (4 carries)
Zack Moss: 19 yards (4 carries), 2 TDs
Duke Johnson: 55 yards (9 carries), 2 TDs

Stock up: OL Dion Dawkins

Similar to the running backs, we’re highlighting one player but the group played well from top-to-bottom. That includes their efforts in the run game, which has been occasionally poor in the past.

Dawkins gets a nod because he stood out on Allen’s long touchdown pass. The pocket was perfect for the QB, including Dawkins, who was right next to Allen holding his own which allowed the play to unfold.

Stock up: DE Shaq Lawson

Lawson popped off the screen a few times against the Broncos. The top play was when he tipped a pass that went straight in the air and was nearly grabbed by him for an interception on third down.

Lawson is locked into a roster spot. Some previously thought Lawson might be a player that ends up at the bottom of the pass-rush rotation, but that looks like it could change if Lawson keeps it up.

Stock up: QB Case Keenum

After struggling in the first week of the preseason, Keenum played much better against the Broncos. In an added bonus, the Bills gave him a chance with the starting offense and that’s where Keenum really helped his stock. He looked like he could right the ship, if ever needed.
