Nebraska vs. Northwestern

The Big Ten’s first game of the season will be taking place across the pond. Nebraska and Northwestern are opening the season in Dublin, Ireland in Aviva Stadium. And for Nebraska, the Cornhuskers are hoping this season sees things begin bouncing their way a little bit more in 2022.
Nebraska fell short of bowl eligibility once again last season, but there were some close calls against better competition that could have easily gone the other way, including a hard-fought road loss at Oklahoma and a tough home loss to eventual Big Ten champion Michigan.
Nebraska also dominated the Wildcats last season, 56-7, and Northwestern struggled its way to a three-win season. Still, Nebraska knows it cannot take a team coached by Pat Fitzgerald lightly.
