Nick Saban signs new extension with Alabama

Good morning, Tide fans! Welcome to our Wednesday edition of Alabama Morning Drive. We are one day closer to the start of the 2022 college football season which will kick off on Saturday.

Tuesday delivered some fantastic news for the ‘Bama faithful as head coach Nick Saban and the University of Alabama agreed upon a contract extension that will carry him through the 2029 season.

Now earning an average of $11.7 million dollars per season, Saban is once again the highest-paid coach in college football.

Coach Saban will be at the ripe age of 78 when his contract expires in February of 2030.
