Colorado football’s defensive depth chart for Week 1 vs. TCU

Previewing Colorado football’s 2022 defense

Game day is almost here and we have a pretty good idea of who’ll be suiting up for the Buffaloes on Friday.

While Colorado’s offense (you can examine that side of the depth chart here) is keeping its starting quarterback secret until kickoff, the defensive pecking orders are more clear-cut. However, the Buffs’ secondary is young compared to their linebackers and defensive line, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Karl Dorrell give a few second and third-string defensive backs some looks. We’ll of course learn more on Friday.

Below is the Buffs’ complete defensive depth chart for their opening night matchup against the TCU Horned Frogs:
