Sexy is overrated.
Arkansas’ 31-24 win over Cincinnati on Saturday was not always attractive. But it was huge.
KJ Jefferson accounted for all four Arkansas touchdowns – three through the air and one on the ground. Tight end Trey Knox caught two of them. Bumper Pool looked the part of preseason All-SEC linebacker, too, racking up 13 tackles, including one for-loss.
Throw in Rocket Sanders’ second 100-yard-plus game and Arkansas’ big boys led the way.
As such, they’re the RazorbacksWire Players of the Game as selected by editor E. Wayne and contributors Taylor Jones and Kendall Hilton.
