Tipico’s Thursday betting odds vs Kentucky Wildcats

Game day is nearing as Florida football gets set to host the Kentucky Wildcats at home in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday to kick off the 2022 Southeastern Conference schedule. The Gators are coming off a big season-opening win against the Utah Utes that launched the team into the top 25 after being buried in the preseason polls.

The Orange and Blue enter the game ranked No. 19 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and No. 12 in the AP Poll. The Bluegrass State boys come into the matchup ranked No. 20 in both polls after their Week 1 home win over Miami (Ohio), 37-13.

The two schools have split the last four meetings after Florida’s 31-game winning streak was snapped in 2018. Kentucky won the last meeting, 20-13, in Lexington, but they are traveling to Gainesville a bit short-handed due to injuries and suspensions. Plus, the Gators certainly have some momentum behind them after a strong start to the Billy Napier era.
