SALT LAKE CITY – The NFL season is here! The University of Utah Football program will be well represented in week one of the 2022 NFL season as 16 former Utes suit up for their respective teams, with 24 former players on rosters in the league.
Devin Lloyd is the lone Ute rookie representing the U on an active roster on week one. The former Utes this season bring versatility, size, and experience to their teams’ rosters, all vying for the ultimate prize – a Super Bowl title.
Three former Utes kick off the season on Thursday night from Los Angeles when Zack Moss and the Buffalo Bills take on the Super Bowl champs LA Rams. The Rams have former Utes Matt Gay and Terrell Burgess on the roster.
