On RU’s first play from scrimmage on its next drive, Wimsatt then connected with WR Chris Long, who made a one-handed grab on the 41-yard touchdown connection for a 21-0 lead.

Rutgers closed the first quarter with another highlight, this one provided by Langan. The captain dropped back and found WR Isaiah Washington for a 43-yard touchdown to put the Scarlet Knights up 28-0 at the end of the quarter.
