The Miami Dolphins earned their first victory of the 2022 season, as they defeated the New England Patriots 20-7 at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
Tua Tagovailoa and the offense weren’t overly impressive, but the quarterback’s stats didn’t look horrendous. He completed 69.7% of his attempts for 270 yards and a touchdown.
On the ground, they averaged just 3.1 yards per attempt, with Chase Edmonds leading in carries with 12.
Defensively, Miami was much better, holding New England to just one touchdown, a catch-and-run by Ty Montgomery in the third quarter. Jevon Holland recorded an interception, Kader Kohou forced a fumble and Brandon Jones strip-sacked Mac Jones, resulting in a touchdown.
