The Eagles announced a roster move on Tuesday, signing defensive end Janarius Robinson to the 53-man roster off the Vikings practice squad.
The move was made after Philadelphia placed Derek Barnett on injured reserve after he suffered a torn ACL. An athletic pass rusher with upside, Robinson missed his entire rookie season due to injury.

Robinson was a high school star from the Florida Panhandles.
A consensus four-star defensive end prospect from Bay High School who enrolled in Florida State early after participating for Team East in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in 2016.
Robinson played alongside Vikings star RB Dalvin Cook

Robinson began his college career as a redshirt in 2016, which was Dalvin Cook’s final season with the Seminoles.
Robinson had 9.0 tackles for loss in 2019 and 7.0 more in a reduced 2020 season, logging three sacks in both seasons.

Robinson was a 2021 fourth-round pick and placed on the Vikings practice squad after the preseason.

Standing 6 feet, 5 inches tall, Robinson is a 260-pound pass-rush specialist who struggled to stuff the stat sheets at Florida State.

In 2020, his final season at Florida State, Robinson started all nine games, recorded 26 tackles, posted seven tackles for loss, and notched three sacks. He led the Seminoles in sacks and hurries and was second in tackles for loss.
