Arkansas’ Players of the Game vs Missouri State

The Razorbacks weren’t perfect Saturday. Or even close to it.

But when Arkansas needed its best players to step up against Missouri State, the superstardom shown through the smoke.

Sam Pittman and Co. left Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium late Saturday night with a closer-than-is-comfortable 38-27 win over the Bears and former coach Bobby Petrino.

They had to overcome a 17-0 hole in the second quarter and a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to make it happen. Bryce Stephens’ 82-yard punt-return touchdown finally gave Arkansas its first lead 9:16 left.

It was the most impressive – and important – play of the night. But the Hogs wouldn’t have been in position to even have that had it not been for the players we’re calling their Players of the Game.

Jefferson had more than 400 yards of total offense, 385 of which came through the air, a career-high. He threw touchdown passes to Rocket Sanders, Jadon Haselwood and ran for another.
