When Notre Dame travels to Chapel Hill on Saturday they’ll be taking on a North Carolina squad that the Irish have historically dominated, but who they will have their work cut out against. North Carolina is coming off a bye week since they played in Week 0 and are 3-0 with their highlight win being a thrilling 63-61 shootout victory at Appalachian State.
Notre Dame finally found the win column this past weekend as they were able to get by Cal, 24-17. The win was the first for Marcus Freeman as head coach and the first for Drew Pyne as a starting quarterback after he made his first collegiate start Saturday.
