In a lot of ways, it feels like the Oregon Ducks are in a similar position to where they started the year at. Going into conference play, it is pretty clear that Oregon is a really talented team with a high ceiling, and that if they can make it through the Pac-12 schedule relatively clean, there is a high upside for the end of the year.
We just got to this point in a different way than many would have imagined. With a 49-3 loss to Georgia in Week 1, it took a blowout win over No. 14 BYU last week to get some confidence back in Eugene. Now the Ducks head on the road where they will look to once again prove that they are among the best teams in the Pac-12 and in the upper-tier of teams in the nation.
