Pac-12 and national CFB experts pick the USC-Oregon State showdown

One of the best games of the entire college football Week 4 slate is Oregon State hosting the USC Trojans. Both teams are 3-0 to begin the year, and Corvallis should be buzzing with excitement as Lincoln Riley’s team comes to town. The winner gains leverage in the Pac-12 race, and the loser won’t have much margin for error.

Both teams face the biggest test of the season, and up to this point, USC has looked terrific on offense. Caleb Williams and Jordan Addison look like one of the best QB-WR duos in the country.

The experts have weighed in on this game between two Pac-12 heavyweights, and here are their predictions for a potential Saturday night thriller in Corvallis.

The only game of the week matching undefeated teams was passed over by ESPN and Fox, hence its unfortunate position on the Pac-12 Networks. The Beavers’ hot start has created circumstances similar to 2006 and 2008, when OSU toppled the mighty Carroll-era Trojans. But this strikes us as the perfect opportunity for USC’s sensational offense and disruptive defense to produce a crowd-silencing show of force. Pick: USC
