The Big Ten got nearly the entire conference in on some conference play in week 4, assuring every team in the conference will go into October having played one Big Ten game so far this season. And with the start of conference play comes the real separation of powers within the conference.

Ohio State made mincemeat of Wisconsin, and Minnesota demolished Michigan State on the road. Through the first month of the season, you would be hard-pressed to find a better looking team in the Big Ten’s West division, but we’ll see if they can keep that boat rowing their way as the season continues. And the Buckeyes continued to show off its offensive firepower by jumping all over the overmatched Badgers, who have slumped out to a 2-2 start to the season.

Here is a look at all of the action that went down in Week 4 of the college football season. Nebraska, perhaps as an act of mercy, was off this week.

This primetime matchup was over essentially as soon as it got started. Six minutes into the game saw Ohio State jump out to a 14-0 lead on the Badgers, thanks in large part to Graham Mertz being intercepted and Tanner McCallister returning it 30 yards to give the Buckeyes a red zone possession after already being up 7-0. C.J. Stroud had five touchdown passes, two of which went to Emeka Egbuka, who led all players with 118 receiving yards.

Wisconsin’s Braelon Allen rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, but that was nowhere close to enough for the Badgers to keep pace with the superior Buckeyes. Ohio State out-gained Wisconsin 539-296.
