The Sellout Streak continues against Indiana

Social Media reacts to Nebraska’s new media right deal

The streak continues! University of Nebraska athletic Director Trev Alberts announced Tuesday night that the Saturday evening home game against Indiana is officially sold out. This will mark the 386th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium.

“The Indiana game’s going to be sold out, and I’m really, really proud of that, I’m grateful and thankful to our fans. We’ve said it’s going to be a week-by-week basis, and we’re making a lot of progress on the rest of the home games. But Husker Nation again continues to just respond.”

The streak initially began on November 3rd, 1962. The Huskers would lose that game 7-16 against Missouri. The athletic director also announced a new look for Herbie Husker in 2023, only saying that the look would be “slightly modernized” and “complete with corn and overalls.”

The AD also talked about Nebraska’s plan to reclaim the NCAA Volleyball single-game attendance record, new renovations to Memorial Stadium, and the attitude of the team heading into Big Ten play.
