Who the experts are taking in Bears vs. Giants

The Chicago Bears (2-1) are hitting the road to face the New York Giants (2-1), where both teams will be looking to notch their third win of the season.

Chicago is coming off a narrow 23-20 win over the Houston Texans (0-2-1), where the passing game continued to struggle but the run game thrived. Meanwhile, New York is coming off a disappointing 23-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys (2-1), where the offensive line did little to help Daniel Jones.

Chicago is a 3.5-point road underdog against New York, according to Tipico Sportsbook. But what do the experts think? Here’s a look:

At least the Bears can run block. Justin Fields may be running an offense out of the 1950s, but Chicago’s strong ground game and frisky defense makes it a tough out against flawed teams like the Texans and Giants. One of these teams gets to be 3-1 after this game, and Daniel Jones is working too hard for every first down to pick his side.

Vinnie Iyer – Giants 16, Bears 13

Justin Fields and Daniel Jones are bound to give us the ugliest game of the week as these two new coaches, Matt Eberflus and Brian Daboll try to grind out another win with the defense and running game. Using that method, someone needs to come out on top, barring a low-scoring tie. Side with the Giants…
