Interim Head Football Coach Mickey Joseph spoke with the media following Nebraska’s 35-21 win over Indiana. Nebraska now prepares for a trip to Piscataway, NJ, to take on Rutgers on Friday night. The Cornhuskers now sit at 1-1 and are tied for first in the Big Ten West.

Opening Statement
“Well, first of all, I want to take my hat off to these coaches and his players. They were put into a tough situation, thrown in the fire right away. If you just look around the conference, everything’s a tight game like this. You got to win the fourth quarter every day.”

On the defensive performance
