Tragedy struck on Sunday night as a former Cornhusker was killed in a car crash in Indiana. 31-year-old Mark Pelini was killed along with the passenger, 31-year-old Jillian Marian. The passenger in the truck that was struck was also killed and has been identified as 57-year-old Jane Beecher. 1 of my favorite memories of Mark Pelini was driving to Vegas after the Holiday Bowl & him puking all down the side of my whip 🤣 so we pulled up to my pops crib for a pit stop. He hosed the car down, changed his shirt & hopped back in like nothing happened. Rest Easy Brother💔

Today, the entire Mooney Family lost an absolute titan in our history. Current o-line coach and 2010 graduate, Mark Pelini, was called to rest. We will NEVER forget his inspiration and love for our players and school.
