The game time has been announced for Nebraska to trip to West Lafayette to take on the Purdue Boilermakers, and the Cornhuskers have another night game on the schedule. This announcement gives the Cornhuskers three straight night games as well as four of the last five.
Game times have yet to be announced for Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The season finale at Iowa has already seen its game announced with a 3:00 pm kickoff at Kinnick Stadium. This is the second straight season that Nebraska has played three straight night games. In 2021 Nebraska played Michigan State, Northwestern, and at Minnesota. The Cornhuskers would go 1-2 during that stretch of the season.
Nebraska is currently preparing for their night game at SHI Stadium to take on Rutgers. Kickoff for that game is set for 7:00 pm and will be televised on Fox Sports 1. On the side, why the heck is the Big Ten scheduling night games on Friday nights? Do they not understand that the Friday Night Lights are for High School Football? The Big Ten can end this experiment.
