Redshirt senior quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson of the UCLA football team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

Thompson-Robinson had his hand in four UCLA touchdowns as the Bruins handed No. 15 Washington a 40-32 defeat Friday at Rose Bowl Stadium. He completed 24 of 33 passes for 315 yards and three scores. In four of five games this season, Thompson-Robinson has found his receivers at a clip of 70% or better. He also registered 10 carries for 53 yards and reached the end zone in highlight-reel fashion. Thompson-Robinson continues to creep up the UCLA career leaderboards and sits four passing touchdowns away from sole possession of the top spot in that category. He claimed third in completions and fourth in passing yards against the Huskies.

This is Thompson-Robinson’s first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and second of his career.

Also nominated: Kyle An, M. Golf; Bernardo Maurizi, M. Water Polo; Iman Ndiaye, W. Volleyball; Reilyn Turner, W. Soccer.
