It was a big week for Isiah Pacheco, who is coming off what might arguably be the best showing of his NFL career. The former Rutgers football standout has certainly settled into his NFL career and looked the part for the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was a very strong Sunday night performance from Pacheco, who had 63 rushing yards on 11 carries as the Chiefs got an impressive win at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was a bit of a statement win from the Chiefs and for Pacheco, it was certainly a showing out of his ability at this level. The rookie running back also had 91 yards on kickoff returns.
In fact, Pacheco made a huge splash nationally for his hard-running style.
In talking with the media this week, Pacheco hit on some important points about his development. A seventh-round pick in this spring’s NFL draft, Pacheco has certainly looked the part of being a big part of one of the NFL’s top offenses.
