A vet and a rook. Their similarity in Week Five, they both got after the quarterback. Yannick Ngakoue and the guy playing his first NFL game, Sam Okuayinonu both recorded sacks this weekend, while of course Stefon Diggs had another big week.
Two guys that overcame a lot of adversity to get to the league got a huge win over the Commanders on Sunday.
Both beat the odds to be on an NFL field:
Sam O: escaped war torn Liberia as a child, started playing football as a senior in HS, played at three schools before Maryland.
Chig: career almost ended after missing all of 2020 due to myocarditis.
So be happy for both of them ❤️ pic.twitter.com/QA9TdCvFTl
