Auburn suffered its third straight loss of the season Saturday, falling to Ole Miss 48-34.
It was just the fourth time Auburn has lost to Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi.
The Tigers fell behind 21-0 early in the game but fought back with an impressive second quarter to make it a 28-17 Ole Miss lead heading into halftime.
Tank Bigsby opened the second half with a 50-yard touchdown run and it looked like Auburn had a chance to pull off a massive upset. However, the defense was unable to stop the Rebels’ offense and they pulled away late.
While it was not the outcome they wanted, several Tigers had good performances and deserve a shoutout. Here are the winners and losers from the game.
Winner: Tank Bigsby

Bigsby finally had the game we knew he was capable of. While no one would blame him for his slow start to the season, he was able to show why he is one of the best running backs in the country Saturday. He averaged 9.0 yards per carry and finished with 170 yards and two touchdowns.

Auburn’s offense had its best game of the season and the defense had its worst. The Rebels were completely one-dimensional, rushing it 69 times to just 19 passes. Despite knowing they were going to run it Auburn could not stop them. They gave up 6.5 yards per carry and 448 yards overall on the ground.
Ole Miss came in averaging 5.6 yards per carry and 242 rushing yards.
Winner: The offensive line
