TALLAHASSEE – University of Utah Football tight end Dalton Kincaid has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, it was announced today by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation opened the 2022 FanVote earlier this season with fans able to vote once daily here. The fan tally will be counted as one official vote to determine semi-finalists.

This season, Kincaid leads the Utes in receptions (39), receiving yards (558) and receiving touchdowns (6), averaging 14.3 yards per catch. He ranks 13th nationally and third overall in the Pac-12 in receiving scores with his six touchdowns also leading all Power Five tight ends.

The Las Vegas, Nev., native currently leads all FBS tight ends in receiving yards (558) and receiving yards per game (79.7) with his 14.3 yards per catch ranking first among Pac-12 tight ends. Out of his 39 catches, 17 have been for 15 yards or longer (44%) with the senior accounting for 25 of Utah’s 89 passing first downs (28%).

He has scored at least one touchdown in four of the seven games, including two multi-touchdown games against Southern Utah and Arizona State. Against Southern Utah, Kincaid recorded seven catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns with a season-long 37-yard catch.

His career-best game came in Utah’s 43-42 win over No. 7 USC, recording a career-high 16 catches on 16 targets for 234 yards and a touchdown. His 16 receptions is the most by a player in the FBS this season with his 234 yards ranking first among FBS tight ends (fifth overall).

His 16 catches was also the most by a Utah tight end in program history, tying for second all-time. The 234 receiving yards the senior brought down is second all-time at Utah and is the most by a Utah tight end since at least 1996.
