Hartman Garners ACC Quarterback of the Week Honors


GREENSBORO, N.C. – Redshift junior quarterback Sam Hartman was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Quarterback of the Week after his standout performance on Saturday in the win over Boston College, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Hartman completed 25-of-40 passes for 313 yards and five touchdowns in Saturday’s win. Additionally, Hartman added a touchdown on the ground in the third quarter. This marked Hartman’s 28th-straight game with a touchdown, the longest active streak in the nation. 

Hartman broke the Wake Forest all-time passing mark against Liberty, eclipsing Riley Skinner (2006-09) with a five-yard pass to Ke’Shawn Williams in the third quarter. With 313 yards today against Boston College, he has now thrown for 11,021 career passing yards.

Hartman already holds the program record with 93 career touchdown passes, which he added to with five passing scores on Saturday. With that, Hartman moved into third in ACC history in this category.
