Well, Ohio State dominated Iowa — though it took a while.

Thanks to several unforced errors by the Hawkeyes, the Buckeyes frequently had incredible field position, but often couldn’t do anything with it until the dam broke in the second half. Ultimately, C.J. Stroud had a respectable line, going 20-for-30 for 286 yards with four passing touchdowns and an interception. However, he looked uncomfortable through much of the game, though he eventually started finding his talented receivers downfield.

The Buckeyes couldn’t run a lick, but the pass game and the defense really kept them afloat.

Speaking of the defense, while it had an incredible performance, it’s hard to give it an A-plus against the worst offense in the country. Granted, the defense played its part in making the Hawkeyes look awful, but we saw that same offense come alive in garbage time against Michigan.

OSU can certainly move back up into our top spot if it has a dominant win in Happy Valley next week.
