LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville football team has a big opportunity in front of them hosting No. 10 Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium.

The Cardinals are looking for their third-straight conference win and attempting a top-10 win for the first time since defeating No. 2 Florida State 63-20 in 2016.Ā 

“Wake Forest, the #10 team in the country, coming into our stadium,” head coach coach Scott Satterfield said.Ā “Huge game for us. It’s a great opportunity for our team to continue to try to play really good football, coming off two wins in a row in ACC play and now being able to host one of the best teams in our league and a top ten team in the country. Hopefully, we’ll have a great crowd.”

The Demon Deacons bring one of the most explosive offenses in the country to Louisville, averaging 41.4 points per game and 295.7 yards through the air. Quarterback Sam Hartman is one of the top triggermenĀ in the nation, throwing for 1,755 yards and 21 touchdowns.Ā
