It was another frustrating day at the office for the Oklahoma Sooners. In a game they had opportunities to take control of, the Sooners made mistakes that kept them from gaining any momentum.
Even as the offense put up 499 yards of total offense, it was a herky-jerky performance. Very little sustained momentum because of penalties and turnovers, and the Sooners lost 38-35 to Baylor to fall to 5-4 on the season nd 2-4 in Big 12 play.
Eric Gray had another solid outing for the Sooners and Marvin Mims and Dillon Gabriel connected for a 63-yard touchdown that was the longest play of the day.
Oklahoma Softball received their championship rings from their 2022 Women’s College World Series title run, and Roy Williams was honored between the first and second quarter ahead of his 2022 College Football Hall of Fame induction.
Here are some of the best social media reactions to the Oklahoma Sooners loss to Baylor on Saturday.

Brent Venables: “We’ve been talking about discipline for 11 months … we’ve got to be more disciplined”

He’s got a point
I don’t think this is as much about discipline. I continue to see a defense that hasn’t learned how to react to adversity. I see an offense that is good, but not great. Venables’ job seems to be turning around the mentality of this team more than the talent level.
