Pro Boilers: Week 9 – Purdue Boilermakers

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –  Pro Boilers made an impact across the NFL in week nine, highlighted by big performances from Derrick Barnes and Raheem Mostert. Fourteen Purdue alumni are currently on NFL rosters, with 10 seeing action in week eight. 
 
Markus Bailey – LB – Cincinnati Bengals
Recorded six tackles (four solo) and saw action in 40 snaps in the 42-21 victory over the Panthers. 

Derrick Barnes – LB – Detroit Lions

Racked up twelve tackles (four solo), one sack, and one quarterback hit to help the Lions defeat the Packers 15-9.

 

Ja’Whaun Bentley – LB – New England Patriots
As a starter, produced five solo tackles, one sack, and two quarterback hits in the 26-3 win against the Colts.

David Bell – WR – Cleveland Browns

Bell had the week off as the Browns were on their bye. 

Anthony Brown – CB – Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys also had their bye this week. 

Brycen Hopkins – TE – Los Angeles Rams

Recorded one tackle on special teams and saw action in 32 snaps in the game against the Buccaneers.

Zander Horvath – FB – Los Angeles Chargers

Appeared in three offensive snaps and 16 snaps for special teams in the Chargers’ 20-17 win against the Falcons.

George Karlaftis – DE- Kansas City Chiefs

Contributed on 36 snaps and had two tackles and four QB hurries during the Chiefs’…
