PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football will host No. 14 Penn State for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday at SHI Stadium, the Big Ten announced. The game will broadcast on Big Ten Network and is presented by Provident Bank.

The day will feature recognition of football student-athlete seniors and their families, as well as thanking all Scarlet Knight fans for their loyal support.

It will be the final opportunity in 2022 for fans to take part in The Rutgers Boardwalk along Scarlet Knight Way. The area, which opens at 11 a.m., will include various food trucks, rides and carnival games. Posters, “Beat Penn State” buttons, “I Chopped 2022” buttons and shakers will be given out at the pregame pep rally.

The football program will honor its senior class in a pregame ceremony. Other recognitions planned include senior members of the national champion Rutgers Spirit Squad and the Marching Scarlet Knights. Plus, there will be door prizes and other items given away throughout the game, such as televisions, t-shirts and gift cards.
