The latest USA Today Sports Coaches Poll was released Sunday, with Swinney and Clemson making a move up the rankings after the Tigers handled business at home with a 31-16 win over a hot Louisville team.
Clemson, 9-1 (7-0 ACC), has jumped three spots in the rankings to the No.9 team in the country according to their rankings. The Tigers will officially face North Carolina in the ACC Championship, who moved up to the No.11 team in the Coaches Poll.
The Tigers’ season is far from over, as the team still has a shot at the College Football Playoff this season. Swinney’s team will next be in action Saturday, November 19th, as Miami heads to Clemson for a matchup in Death Valley.
