Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs set up game-winning Tyler Bass kick

Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs set up game-winning Tyler Bass kick

The Buffalo Bills corrected a few late mistakes in the final seconds against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving to give themselves a late holiday victory.

Up 25-22, the Bills (8-3) really should have had a 26-22 lead. However, kicker Tyler Bass missed his first extra-point attempt of 2022.

That gave the Lions (4-7) an opportunity to tie it up with a field goal, which they did.

Detroit then left just enough time on the clock for Buffalo.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen connected on a dime with receiver Stefon Diggs to get their team in field goal range with just 20 seconds left on the clock. After a few running plays, Bass got his redemption.

The kicker split the uprights from 45 for the win.
