*Four days after he was held to 22 rushing yards, Saquon Barkley ran for 39 yards on 11 carries and caught four passes for 13 yards.
*Barkley’s 39 rushing yards increased his season total to 992.
*Barkley scored the Giants’ first touchdown on a one-yard run with 9:28 remaining in the second quarter. It was his 26th career rushing touchdown, tying him with Bill Paschal (1943-47) for 10th place on the Giants’ career list. Ahmad Bradshaw is ninth with 32 rushing touchdowns.
*Second-year pro Gary Brightwell had career-high totals of five carries and 31 yards and two receptions for 18 yards.
*James made his second start of the season – both against the Cowboys – and led the Giants with five receptions (for 41 yards).

*The Giants, who intercepted only two passes in the first 10 games, matched that total in the first half on Thursday.
*Rodarius Williams picked up his first career interception when he grabbed a Dak Prescott pass intended for Michael Gallup and kept his feet inbounds with 7:10 remaining in the first quarter. It was Williams’ second game of the season and seventh of his career. In his 2021 rookie year, he tore his ACL here, an injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the season and the first nine games this year.
*With 1:50 remaining in the second quarter, Darnay Holmes tipped a Prescott pass for CeeDee Lamb that was intercepted by Julian Love, his second pick of the season.
*Linebacker Jaylon Smith, a former Cowboy, and Love each had a team-high 10 tackles. Smith had seven solo stops and Love six.
*The Giants did not record a sack for the second consecutive game, the first time that’s happened since Nov. 5 and 12, 2017, vs. the Rams and at San Francisco. It was the fourth game this season and second vs. Dallas in which the Giants did not sack the opposing quarterback (also at Jacksonville and vs. Detroit).
