Well, how about that?
The biggest game of consequence in the entire 2022 college football season took place on Saturday, and despite most predicting Ohio State to beat Michigan, go to the Big Ten Championship game, and beyond, the Wolverines had something to say about it. The maize and blue eviscerated the Buckeyes, 45-23, on their home field.
Georgia, TCU and USC rolled, but LSU lost a stunner to the perpetually struggling Texas A&M Aggies. Oregon lost to Oregon State, and Clemson lost to South Carolina. No Hendon Hooker for Tennessee? No problem, as former Wolverine Joe Milton led the Vols to a shutout victory over Vanderbilt.
It was a wild week to finish the 2022 regular season. So how does ESPN see the field now that every team has played their requisite 12 games? Here are the latest ESPN power rankings — the final ones of the regular season.
