Former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence shined Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens as he put together the best game of his young career.
With a single timeout and 1:59 on the clock, Lawrence took the Jaguars’ offense 78-yards downfield, scoring a touchdown and converting a two-point conversation giving the Jaguars a 28-27 lead and the win. Lawrence was elite this past Sunday, completing 29-37 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns and making jaw-dropping throws along the way.
Of all the rookie quarterback seasons we’ve seen over the years, Lawrence was put into arguably the worst situation of any under former head coach Urban Meyer. In his second season, Jaguars’ new head coach Doug Pederson has been a breath of fresh air for Lawrence as we got a glimpse of the young quarterback’s immense ceiling Sunday against the Ravens.
Here is a look at how Twitter reacted to Trevor Lawrence’s excellent performance in the Jaguars’ win over the Ravens.
