It’s not a player prop bet, so maybe this is a cheat addition, but this feels like one of the easier totals of the week. The 41.5-point total (that’s up half a point from Saturday) is one of the lowest of Week 14.
That makes sense for the Titans, a team that is near the bottom of the league in offense, but 11th in points allowed. However, the Jaguars are the opposite with an offense that’s heading in the right direction and a defense that’s been collapsing.
The Titans will be without several important players on defense, including cornerbacks Kristian Fulton and Tre Avery, as well as linebacker David Long Jr. The Jaguars will be without safety Andre Cisco, whose absence caused a “domino effect” in Week 13, in the words of Doug Pederson.
Maybe you shouldn’t expect a shootout in Nashville, but it shouldn’t be hard for this game to eclipse 42 points.
