CU Buffs a team to watch in landing Texas A&M transfer Denver Harris

The Colorado Buffaloes are suddenly a popular team for recruits and transfer portal players.

In years past, it was difficult for the Buffs to land quality players. However, the addition of Deion Sanders as the head coach and a star-studded staff suddenly has the Buffs as one of the primary talking points during transfer portal season.

One name that has garnered some attention is Denver Harris, the top-ranked transfer in the portal so far (per 247Sports) and a five-star athlete who played cornerback at Texas A&M.

College football analyst Josh Pate examined potential landing spots for Harris, and the Buffs were mentioned in detail.

Harris came into the 2022 season with a ton of hope, and he had 14 tackles through five games before he was suspended indefinitely due to a locker room incident.

Harris’ high school footage was impressive, and there’s a reason why programs are lining up to land him this offseason.

The character issues are a concern, and Harris was also caught speeding through a parking garage and was suspended in September as well.

Still, maybe a change of scenery will do wonders for Harris, and Coach Prime would love an opportunity to work with a talented cornerback.
