Takeaways from Coach Prime’s final game leading Jackson State

Jackson State played a lot of different fronts on the defensive side of the ball and was able to bring pressure from multiple areas. The Tigers did appear to run a three-man defensive base front but they’ll rotate between a 3-4 look and a 3-3-5 look.

I was really intrigued by the 3-3-5 look as it ended up being more of a 5-1-5 as they would have five men near the line of scrimmage with one linebacker and five defensive backs. It will be great to see a defensive coaching staff dial up the pressure next year and switch up front to try and confuse opposing offenses.
