Syracuse DL commit flips to Nebraska

Nebraska Cornhuskers Offer 2023 4-Star DE From Mississippi

2023 three-star defensive lineman Vincent Carroll-Jackson has signed with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Caroll-Jackson was previously committed to the Syracuse Orange.

Carroll-Jackson attends Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, PA. He is listed at 6’5″ and 285 pounds. 247Sports ranks him as the 78th overall defensive lineman in the class.

Carroll-Jackson gave some insight into his decision.

“I am going to Nebraska,” he said via On3’s Bryan Munson. “It was a combination of things for me really why I chose Nebraska. It was my connection to the new coaching staff especially coach Matt Rhule. On these visits the head coaches pop in and out typically, but coach Rhule was around the whole time, literally.”

The Cornhuskers had a massive day today, as they signed Carroll-Jackson, Malachi Coleman, and many other notable recruits. Their 2023 recruiting class is now ranked as the 28th-best in the nation by 247Sports Composite.
