The Colorado Buffaloes kicked off the early signing period with a bang on Wednesday. Head coach Deion Sanders and his coaches promised to bring in talent this offseason and they delivered on that promise. Many positions were fortified throughout the day ranging from the front seven on defense, the quarterback position and some playmakers on both sides of the ball.
Fans were eagerly pressing refresh on their favorite Twitter pages and recruiting sites to see who Colorado would get next and just when it seemed all things had quieted down for the evening, a YouTube subscription target delivered the biggest recruiting win Colorado has had in a while.

Below is a rundown of what happened on the first day of the early signing period:
- 24 total players signed with the Buffaloes on Wednesday
- 16 came from either the high school or JUCO ranks
- 8 transferred in from other FBS/FCS schools.
- 13 offensive players signed compared to 11 on the defensive side
- 6 OL, 4 WRs and 6 LBs/DL signed
Deion Sanders proclaimed during his introductory press conference that Shedeur Sanders would be the QB of the future for the Buffaloes, so Shedeur signing on Wednesday was hardly a surprise. Sanders, the QB, took to Twitter to show off his new threads:

Deion Sanders was in a giddy mood most of the day and he topped it off with a video posted by Deion Sanders Jr.’s YouTube page, Well Off Media, in which he said the above headline into the camera. This seems directly tied to the late-night announcement of Travis Hunter and his commitment to Colorado.
