After three quarters, Kansas begins to wake up in the Liberty Bowl

Kansas came out of the locker room, moving the ball down the field, with big plays but Daniels missed Arnold on third down due to the pressure by the Arkansas defense, ending the opening drive of the half.

Arkansas again drives down the field for a second rushing touchdown of the game. Rashad Dubbinion scored his first touchdown of the game, his third of the season.

Dubbinion and Green have done an excellent job replacing Sanders, and the offensive line looks Pittman-like, pushing Kansas back. Without Sanders, the Razorbacks already have 264 rushing yards midway through the third quarter.

The Jayhawks reached the endzone, with Ky Thomas scoring from two yards, some could say the drive was assisted with a questionable pass interference call. Kansas built on the momentum from the touchdown forcing the Razorbacks to go three-n-out on the ensuing possession.

The Jayhawks attempted a trick play with a double pass that second-string quarterback Jason Bean overthrew. Kansas ended the quarter close to the Redzone, walking into the fourth trailing by 18.
