NFL legend hired as University Lecturer at Nebraska

A football legend is taking a position at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. On Twitter, four-time Pro Bowl running back Ahman Green announced that he is starting a new job as a University Lecturer.

Green, of course, is one of the most notable football players in the university’s history. In 1995, he rushed for a school freshman record 1,086 yards and 13 touchdowns and helped the Cornhuskers win the national championship. In 1997, he rushed for 1,877 yards and 22 touchdowns and helped the program win their third national championship in four years.

Green went on to have a very successful NFL career. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. For his NFL career, he rushed for 9,205 yards and 60 touchdowns, which are both the most among all Nebraska alumni.

Green graduated from Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in geography in 2003.
