The Nebraska Cornhuskers re-offered five-star defensive lineman Williams Nwaneri. He announced the news on Twitter.
Nwaneri was originally offered by the Cornhuskers in January. 247Sports ranks him as the number one defensive lineman and third-best recruit in the class. He attends Lee’s Summit North High School in Lee’s Summit, MO. As a junior, he posted 56 total tackles, 12.0 sacks, and six passes defended, per MaxPreps.
Unsurprisingly, Nwaneri has drawn a lot of recruiting interest. He has received 29 offers. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine actually gives Nebraska the second-best odds to land Nwaneri at 14.8 percent; Kansas State is given the best odds at 16.9 percent.
