Former Clemson DL makes NFL history

2023 OL recruit flips back to Tigers

It was another big week for former Clemson Tiger Christian Wilkins in the NFL. In the Miami Dolphins latest matchup against the New England Patriots on the road at Gillette Stadium, Wilkins made NFL history despite the 23-21 loss.

The defensive lineman garnered six tackles versus the Patriots on Sunday, which brought his season total to an impressive 92 tackles, setting an NFL record for most tackles recorded in a single season by an NFL defensive lineman in the past decade.

Not only did Wilkins make history on Sunday, but he also did so in his home state of Massachusetts.

So far this season, the former Tiger has put together an impressive fourth season in the NFL, recording 92 tackles, five pass breakups, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception over the course of 16 starts.
