Stanford transfer offensive tackle Walter Rouse will visit Nebraska, according to Josh Edwards of CBS Sports.
Rouse has played in 40 games for the Cardinals. In 2020, he was an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention after starting every game at left tackle. In 2022, he was a William V. Campbell Trophy finalist, which is known as the “Academic Heisman”.
On3 ranks Rouse as the 19th-best offensive tackle in the transfer portal. He also has visits scheduled with Oklahoma and Iowa, and he previously visited Auburn.
Notably, On3 gives the Cornhuskers an 83.3 percent chance to land Rouse. It would be a massive addition for the Cornhuskers, who were 93rd in the FBS in sacks allowed per game (2.71).
Former #Stanford OT Walter Rouse (@wrouse19), a top prospect in the transfer portal, has visits lined up with Oklahoma, Iowa and Nebraska, in that order. #Kentucky is among the programs to have expressed interest.
He has started 39 games at left tackle. @247SportsPortal
