It has been 87 days since Rutgers football announced that offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson was released and that Nunzio Campanile was given the interim role.
Eighty. Seven. Days. And not even a rumored name has dropped for the search.
What does this all mean? Well, it may mean nothing.
It might mean that Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano is waiting on a coach currently employed (which at the college level would be either on the Georgia or TCU staffs), a coach whose team just ended their season (Ohio State, Michigan) or a coach in the NFL (a position coach for instance).
It might also mean that there is an unconventional name out there, someone (or something) causing this to take a little bit longer. Schiano is pragmatic to say the least

So let’s have some fun and brainstorm a few names for Greg Schiano to consider for Rutgers football’s next offensive coordinator. Scroll down for a few ideas for Schiano to consider. Some are offbeat. Some are stretches. Some make no sense.
