With the 2022 season in the books, we are looking toward the 2023 season. There will be no shortage of storylines and huge games to follow.
However, we want to focus on our way-too-early top 25 teams. These are the teams that we expect to be among the 25 best in the country by the time the season officially kicks off.
The votes were tallied from a panel of five editors on the College Wire network.
First-place votes received 25 points and the number descends to one point for the No. 25 spot. A total of 32 teams were listed among the five ballots submitted across the College Wire network.
Teams that’s just missed the cut:
- South Carolina Gamecocks (9 points)
- North Carolina State Wolfpack (6 points)
- Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (5 points)
- Texas A&M Aggies (4 points)
- Troy Trojans (3 points)
- UCLA Bruins (3 points)
- James Madison Dukes (1 point)
