Giants-Eagles Divisional Round Preview
The New York Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round of the 2022 Playoffs. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 21 on FOX at Lincoln Financial Field.
Saturday marks the third meeting of the 2022 season between the Giants and the Eagles, with Philadelphia winning the first two games. The Giants and Eagles have met three times in a single season on four occasions – 2008, 2006, 2000 and 1981. The Giants have never lost three times to the Eagles in a single season.
In the Giants’ last NFC Divisional Round appearance, they defeated Green Bay, 37-20, in 2011 en route to the Super Bowl XLVI title.

*RB Saquon Barkley had 5 catches, 109 scrimmage yards (56 rec., 53 rush) & 2 rush TDs in NFC-WC at Min. Ranked 4th in rush yards (1,312) & ranked 5th among RBs in scrimmage yards (1,650) & had 2nd-career season with 10+ rush TDs (10) in 2022.
*WR Isaiah Hodgins led team with 8 receptions for 105 yards & had TD catch in NFC-WC. Has rec. TD in 5 of his past 6, incl. playoffs.
*WR Darius Slayton had 88 rec. yards in NFC-WC. Had 46 receptions for team-high 724 rec. yards & 2 rec. TDs in 2022, his 3rd-career season with 700+ rec. yards.
*WR Richie James had career highs in receptions (57), rec. yards (569) & rec. TDs (4) in 2022.
*TE Daniel Bellinger had rec. TD in NFC-WC at Min.
DL Dexter Lawrence had 6 tackles & TFL in NFC-WC at Min. Aims for his 4th in row with TFL, incl. playoffs. Had career highs in sacks (7.5), TFL (7), PD (3) & FF (2) in 2022. Led NFC DL with career-high 68 tackles this season.
ILB Jaylon Smith had 88 tackles this season, his 5th-career season with 80+ tackles. Had 9 tackles in Week 14 meeting vs. Phi. Aims for his 4th in row in playoffs with 7+ tackles.
